When you sign up for a Minum plan, we migrate your utility account to us, and we manage your energy and utility connection on your behalf. Once your energy subscription is activated, you will no longer receive a bill from your utility, just your monthly Minum plan.
Our digital platform uses cutting-edge technology, data analytics and renewable energy to generate savings relative to your traditional utility bill. We pass those savings along to you in the form of the guaranteed discount in your plan. Our system monitors your energy consumption and needs 24/7, looking to identify ways to increase your savings. You benefit from new technology without risk through a simple subscription that offers immediate savings on your monthly bill.
No. Minum offers an alternative to your traditional electric bill through our simple, 100% digital energy plan. Solar energy subscriptions deliver energy credits to partially offset consumption from your electric utility. Your savings can vary and you now have two energy providers.
With Minum, you have one energy provider with guaranteed savings, whether or not you receive solar energy credits under your Minum plan.
Our guaranteed discount plan is as simple as it seems. With this plan, every month you enjoy a guaranteed discount relative to your traditional electricity bill. We use the latest technology and renewable energy to reduce costs, passing along savings to you in the form of a discount – over your consumption or your total traditional bill, depending on your plan.
If you consume less than 750kWh/month, your guaranteed discount is applied over the cost of your consumption with the traditional utility. If you consume more, your guaranteed discount is applied to the total cost of your traditional utility bill (e.g. including public lighting).
Our plans provide protection from tariff flags, too! With a Minum plan, you never pay tariff flags, delivering even more savings.
Currently, Minum is operating in the following states: Pará (EQUATORIAL PA), Goiás (EQUATORIAL GO), Maranhão (EQUATORIAL MA), and Mato Grosso (ENERGISA MT). We are soon launching in Mato Grosso do Sul (EMS), Rio de Janeiro (ENEL RJ), and Bahia (COELBA). We aim to expand our service nationally in the near future.
