Our energy plans replace your electricity bill and traditional utility service with a cheaper, simpler and improved service, designed to save you money. Our service is 100% digital, simple and personalized. It offers immediate savings, with no membership fee, no upfront cost, and no commitment.
Our plan is designed as a simple and digital alternative to your traditional electric bill that delivers guaranteed savings. When you subscribe to a Minum Plan, you no longer receive a utility bill – we manage the utility on your behalf as your energy partner.
When you sign up, we migrate your utility account to Minum, so that you have one service and one bill through your plan. From that moment on, you will only receive one monthly bill from Minum and not from the utility.
We use technology combined with active and intelligent data analysis to generate the savings we guarantee you under your Minum plan. Our AI-driven system accompanies your consumption in real time to continuously improve and optimize our service and your savings. You save every month risk-free and with minimal effort. Our experts design and operate renewable energy and cutting-edge technologies for you.

Our goal is to offer Minum to all Brazilians in the near future.
When you subscribe to a Minum plan, we migrate your existing utility account to us. This process may take up to ~10 business days but can extend up to 30 days depending on your utility. You may receive a final (partial) bill from your utility once this process is completed.
Once your Minum plan is activated, you will only receive one monthly bill from us. We take full care of the utility and utility bill, passing along risk-free savings to you under your plan.
If you ever have a loss of power or problem with your connection to the grid, you can always contact the utility directly using your account information available in your portal and on your Minum bill.
Minum will never interrupt your power supply, but the utility remains responsible for managing the electric grid. Contact us directly through your portal or reach out to Customer Care for our team to assist in resolving any issue with the utility quickly as possible.

No. Our Minum plan completely replaces your traditional electricity service and bill, while a solar energy subscription delivers virtual energy credits to partially offset your utility bill. You have two services and two bills.
With a Minum energy plan, you benefit from our solar projects and have just one account and one bill.
Our guaranteed savings plan is as simple as it sounds. With our plan, every month you enjoy guaranteed savings compared to your traditional utility bill. We use renewable energy and other cutting-edge technologies to optimize your energy management to generate savings that we pass on to you through your Minum plan. Our partnership is designed to maximize savings through Minum.
If you consume less than 750kWh/month, your savings is basd on the cost of your energy consumption. If you consume more, your savings is based on the full cost of your traditional bill (e.g. including street lighting).
All of our consumers save more money during tariff flag periods!
Note that we are unable to offer savings on ancillary charges, fines, donations and payment plans.
Our AI-driven system accompanies your energy consumption to design the best solution for your needs. This may include solar energy, batteries, and other energy-efficiency technologies and hardware. You save every month through your plan while Minum manages these tools to save you time and moneyand you realize the benefit in reducing the cost of energy, saving time and money with renewable energy and cutting-edge technology, without complexity.
Yes, the energy delivered by Minum is 100% renewable.
Our plan is open to all consumers connected to low voltage – that is, consumers in the tariff categories:
- B1
- B2
- B3
Unfortunately we are unable to serve:
- Customers in the free market (ACL)
- Customers with overdue, unpaid bills
- Customers with a solar energy subscription
- Customers with tax exemptions
To sign up for a Minum plan, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be the holder of the electricity bill
- Have a low voltage connection (B1, B2 or B3)
- Have no outstanding debts with the utility
Yes! We serve customers who have multiple consumer units. Through our platform, you can manage all of your units, adjust billing cycles and even consolidate units into one monthly bill. Please keep in mind that each unit must meet the eligibility requirements.
Yes! On our platform you can unify and consolidate both the management and billing of these units.
Yes, but we need to understand your specific case in order to generate a personalized offer taking into account the energy from your panels.
It is important to remember that we are unable to serve customers who have a solar energy subscription, unless you cancel that subscription when you sign up for a Minum plan.
No, because you have to transfer your current electricity bill to Minum upon subscribing. This means that you cannot participate in another shared generation scheme with a different company. But don’t worry, our plans are based on your total consumption, ignoring solar energy credits, so you’ll keep saving when you switch to Minum.
The savings of your plan is applied in the form of a discount relative to your traditional electricity bill, as follows:
- Consumption >750kWh: Your Minum discount is applied over the cost of your consumption (kWh) that you would have paid to the utility based on your current tariff (including public lighting, excluding charges and installment plans)
- Consumption <750kWh: Your Minum discount is applied over the cost of your consumption (kWh) that you would have paid to the utility based on your current tariff (excluding charges)
It depends, but our plan will save you at least 10% relative to what your utility would have charged. We focus on using AI and new technologies to increase your savings over time.
Your initial savings can be greater if:
- We have identified a better solution for you based on your consumption and profile
- ANEEL has activated tariff flags. With Minum, you don’t have to pay tariff flags, increasing your discount
- You signed up through one of Minum’s partnership programs
- You signed up to a plan with a special promotion
We are always looking for new ways to increase your savings. If you would like to schedule an appointment with our team (and have been a customer for at least 6 months), please contact us to discuss your options.
Our goal at Minum is to offer simple, transparent and guaranteed pricing so that you can compare our plan with other alternatives. If you think there’s a better solution than ours, our commitment is to do everything possible to design a Minum plan to beat it.

If you are a new customer, our ability to offer higher savings is limited. This is because we depend on our AI-driven system’s analysis of your consumption and profile to further improve our service and increase your savings. If we identify a way to increase your savings, we’ll reach out with an improved solution with more savings.
All of our customers that have had a Minum plan for at least 6 months are able to schedule an appointment with one of our specialists to review your plan, needs and the latest Minum technologies.
Yes! If you are a customer of one of our partners, you may be eligible for a special discount and other benefits under your plan. We are always running promotional campaigns, so please contact us to learn more about our current campaigns.
Yes! We offer compensation to our customers that make referrals! In order to refer a friend, please reach out to our team here. In the near future, you will be able to make referrals directly through your portal.
Our plan is designed to offer a guaranteed discount relative to your traditional bill. We still need to cover the costs related to the utility, so your savings may change even though your discount remains the same. We are always working to reduce the cost of our service and to increase your savnigs over time, even if the utility keeps raising rates. The longer you stay with Minum, the more you’ll save!
Your discount will not be less than what’s guaranteed under your plan, but we aim to increase your discount over time. By signing up to a Minum plan, you can be sure that our AI-driven system is always assessing how to improve your service and increase your savings.
With your Minum plan, you don’t pay any tariff flags. When tariff flags are active, you save extra money relative to what the utility charges.
Your monthly bill with Minum will depend on your consumption during that month, if you have a plan with guaranteed savings. The discount is applied to consumption or to the total amount of the traditional electricity bill, depending on the volume of your consumption.

You will receive your bill every month via email and via your portal.
You can pay your Minum bill using a credit or debit card, PIX or in any bank branch.

Your billing cycle with Minum follows your existing utility cycle. Within 5 days of closing, you will receive your Minum bill due within 5 business days. If you would like to adjust your billing cycle, please contact us.

With the Minum Plan your savings is linked to your consumption, but your discount remains the same. If you have a fixed-price plan, your monthly fee does not vary with consumption (unless you exceed the limit in your contract).
A Minum plan is typically for 12 months, but you can cancel at any time with 60 days notice. Some Minum plans and promotional offers are subject to a minimum commitment period for longer than 12 months.
Our plans do not have a commitment period. If you do not want to continue with us, simply let us know at least 60 (sixty) days in advance to cancel without penalty. Some Minum plans and promotional offers are subject to a minimum commitment period for longer than 12 months.

When you cancel your Minum plan, we notify your utility to transfer your account back to you. This may take up to 60 days, which is why we require at least 60 days’ notice to cancel.

We need your recent utility bill (from the last three months). We also need a copy of your ID, which is requested as part of the sign up process. If this is a company account, we also need proof of legal representation (e.g. bylaws or power-of-attorney).

You don’t need to do any work or installation to save under a Minum plan. Depending on your consumption, Minum will install a smart meter at no cost to you so that we can identify ways to increase your savings through our AI-driven system.
No, there is no cost to installing the smart meter. We currently offer smart meters to customers with consumption above 1,000 kWh/month.
You can access your account through our website with your CPF/CNPJ and password by clicking on “Customer Portal.” In your portal, you can see your bill, , monitor your consumption and track your savings.
